Kathmandu: The Old & The New

Kathmandu is a living palimpsest where the ancient and the modern coexist in a layered harmony. Starting from sacred temples echoing with centuries-old Hindu and Buddhist traditions to the modern frolic-filled alleys bustling with youth, the city embodies a dynamic interplay between continuity and change. Capturing this contrast between the ancient (shot in colour) and the modern (shot in monochrome) was the main goal of the project.
