Bhutan in Monochrome - I
This is a place that helps you discover the peace inside you. The warmth of the place and the hospitality of the people are what will inspire you to come back to this place again and again! During our visit to the country in 2018, we could only cover the western part of the country - places like Thimphu, Paro, Punakha, Haa Valley and Phobjikha Valley. Had we known better, we could have covered the even lesser-covered eastern parts. No regrets though, there is always a next time.
Bhutan today is the only country in the world that measures its GDP in terms of happiness. It's also the only one of three carbon-negative countries in the world with approximately 70% of the land area under forest cover. As we always say, if you want to experience "unique", come to Bhutan.
