How do we handpick our adventures?
When we sit on the planning table to decide on our next project, we have only one thing in mind - IT HAS TO STAND OUT! And how do we decide what stands out? Well, glad you asked!
We have devised a "proprietary" equation called ABOL's Index of Desirability, or ABOL ID for short. If an adventure has an ABOL ID of greater than 6, we are happy to do it. Let us break it down.

How we calculate ABOL ID?
ABOL ID is a modified weighted average of the following parameters:
C = Crowd Factor, as in how popular and crowded the place is.
U = Uniqueness Factor.
R = Remoteness of the location.
L = Landscape's beauty and ruggedness.
E = Emotional Impact, in terms of personal significance, and power of stories involved, and the history.
D = Difficulty Factor.
Apart from the Crowd Factor, every parameter is contributes positively to ABOL ID. Because, as you might already know, we take the road less travelled by. Fans of Robert Frost anyone?
Does all this math actually help?
Yes, it does! You see, as a brand, our mission statement is to cover cultures that are remote and unique, and go on adventures that are extreme. Well, these are subjective terms though.
Remote?
How do you measure exactly how remote?
Truly extreme? Or just a gimmick to make yourself look badass?
Can anything be really unique? How do we know what is?
Extreme?
Unique?
What can't be measured can't be improved upon. ABOL ID gives us an objective tool to do exactly that - calculate the fit of our adventures with our mission. An adventure ranking high in ABOL ID is precisely, undoubtedly, undisputedly, and unbiasedly remote, unique, and extreme.
What's in it for you?
ABOL ID ensures that every single adventure is carefully chosen for its visual richness, remoteness, uniqueness, and emotional impact. You get to go on journeys with us that are not just extreme, but ABOL-Extreme. You are guaranteed cultural experiences that are not just rare, but ABOL-rare. You get to discover places that aren’t just worth seeing, but worth feeling.
